In my family, we have a tradition, when a girl turns 18, her mother gives her a ring. The tradition started when my mom got her ring from her grandma, when she turned 18. Couple months ago I turned 18, so I also got the ring. The ring is made of gold and aquamarine stone. This ring means a lot for me, because it is my family's tradition, it also reminds me about my sister, because I remember when she got her ring for her 18 birthday and I was very excited to get my one. I wear it everyday.
