My family is the most important people in my life because they have been what they have always been with me at all times and whenever I need something they are always there for me. However, I had to separate from my mother when I came to New York, but before I left my country my mother gave me a ring to remind me of her every time I miss her and have her on my mind, the ring is an Egyptian tradition but in my country people use it as an ornament for the hands or wedding to symbolize love , affection and create stronger bonds. The ring is important because it reminds me of one of the most important people in my life.  I'm not always with the ring,  but I always have it present to remind me of my mother.
