My object is a red envelope. This is because I am part Chinese. My mom was born in China, and so were my grandparents. Th red envelope is used for putting money inside and giving it out to friends and relatives. This is a tradition for Chinese New Year, and this happens every year(besides Covid years). There is a superstition that putting a red envelope in your pillowcase gives you good luck. I enjoy celebrating this holiday, because I get to see my relatives, and also get free money.
