Red envelope
My object are red envelopes. Red envelopes is very important to the chinese culture. The red envelope is a blessing for the money and for the people exchanging it. It carries the intention that the money multiplies for both the person giving and the person receiving the money. It transmutes the emotional pain people can feel when letting go of money into joy instantaneously Red envelopes are what kids, maybe also adults get during chinese new year. Inside the red envelope would contain money. The money and the red envelope stands for good luck. To my family, red envelopes are a way to get money and share and communicate with others. In my family, Chinese new year is when we bring all our close relatives and eat dinner together. This object represents me as an asian cause, us, chinese people celebrates this holiday.
