Quran
You have probably heard of the Quran, but if not, it is a religious book that we muslims believe is the book of Allah. The Quran is important to our family because it represents our religion and tells the important stories and events that happened and some things are lessons sent down by Allah. To my family, culture, and religion the Quran is not just a book that we read and memorize but is a guide, it has science, stories of how to treat people, of patience, and so much more. The first Surah revealed was in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, stories and Surahs came to be over time. The reason we memorize these stories is to teach others of what we believe, to educate them in all those aspects (and to pray). The Quran shows logic in it’s stories and it shows us what is right and wrong. We use the stories (Surahs) in the Quran to pray because knowing them is acknowledging and showing respect to Allah. The stories in the Quran aren’t just for muslims, everyone can use them, a bully can learn that it is not right to speak bad things of someone behind their back(back-biting), a doctor can learn sciences of life and a mother’s womb, a student can right a report of any of the stories. In fact some of the stories in the Quran and bible are the same or similar. The Quran is a piece of history and history is what impacts our future and to my family if you follow it just right your future will glow bright.
