Pozole is a delicious soup made up of pork, hominy, and with as many toppings as you like. We always eat it during the cold in a big pot. I remember having to go outside for it in the cold and then going inside to the warmness. We’ve always eaten it during the cold for as long as I can remember and we’re still going to continue to do that. We’d have plates filled with chopped lettuce, salt, limes, avocado, onions, and more. It started as a tradition because my mom would tell me stories about my grandma making it during the cold times and she wanted to carry that tradition. Since it’s been going on for a while I don’t plan on breaking that tradition anytime soon.
