These paintings are of an official royal portrait of Mary Queen of Scots as a child. The top portrait was the original one, which was given to my mom's grandfather, passed down by his great grandmother, who came from England (or Scotland, it is not known). Being part of the Stuart clan, my great grandfather was very interested in this portrait and therefore, knowing it meant a lot to him, was preserved and passed down to my grandmother, then my mom. Today, there are 4 portraits, all the same, of Mary Queen of Scots, which serve as a continuation of my great grandfather's interest in this portrait and represent older generations of my family and our origins.
