PlayStation Three
Video games have always been a way for my family to bond families together with their plethora of problem solving skills. As a part of my culture, finding ways to spend time as a family has always been essential, and old school video games were a great way for us to fulfill that. When I was about 8 years old, my uncle moved into our apartment in need of our support in order to get back onto his feet. He managed to bring his playstation three along with him , where the pieces of my culture would slowly connect overtime. During my dad’s teenage years, he really only had his mother when he migrated to America. He was unable to spend much time with his family as he anticipated. This caused him to make quality time with my family the one thing he pushed on me. Since I was still young, and found myself with no major responsibilities yet, my uncle's playstation occupied most of my time. The most important part of the playstation was how I rarely found myself playing alone. I always played alongside my uncle, which helped continue what my dad desired for me. For most of the time we lived together, we played many games together, and one day, my grandma acknowledged this, which brought a tear to her eye, with a faint smile. She mentioned how she was finally delighted to see one of her sons being able to bond with nephew, something she never had the chance to see in years. As for me , I was able to finally have a close relationship with another family member besides my parents.
