This is a photo of my grandpa from right before he went to California. He was eighteen when he married my grandma, and at the time he went to California they had four kids. He left around 1980 for California in order to be able to bring his family to the U.S. in order to give them a better chance at life. Without him, I would have never been able to have the life I have today, and the same goes for all his other family members.
