One of the videos I watched was about a woman named Julissa Arce, who talked not about an object she had, but about how she didn't have a photo of her entire family.

My object is a bookshelf in my living room that is full of photo albums, some made by my grandmother. Each book represents a time in my life, or the life of someone important to me. They are special to me, but also to those I care about, as they capture little bits and pieces of our lives that we don't want to forget. Whether it was a wedding, a fun family vacation, or just photos from over the years, they are things I'm glad I have. Although they have no value to other people, most of them cannot be recreated. When I was given this assignment, I wasn't sure what to do at first, because no object matters that much to me. As I wasn't allowed to do people or pets, I decided to choose something that represents my family, friends, pets, and things that have happened to me or my family.
