Money from Mexico
Money from Mexico

My object is 10 dollars and it was brought from my sister from Mexico. The coin in the photo is called Pesos. It is made out of copper. The history behind it is that it is something like a quater but 10 dollars. Like the 1 dollar quarter in America. It's important to me because I never looked at it in real life. It also reminds me of where my family is from. I also wanted to see how much it is worth in America. A question I love to ask is what could you buy with the 10 dollars in Mexico. I also love to ask my sister how did you get or did she exchange the money? Overall, this object is important to me because it keeps me connected to my culture and to my family.
