Being born and raised in Kansas City has always been a part of me. My parents gave me a penny collector early in my life around 2016. Most summers throughout my childhood we would go on a vacation to another state. The traveling has died down in the past 5 years, but it still symbolizes the great memories I've had with my parents. It symbolizes some of the places I've already been to in the United States and became one of my personal traditions every time I went to another state. Every time me and my family would go to a zoo or museum there was always a penny roller that you could put into the slots on the collector. My parents would always give me the money for rolling the pennies, and I can reflect on the great times I had with them doing that. In this penny collector I have pennies from Omaha, Nebraska; Union Station; and Branson. I hope to continue collecting pennies from all 50 states and from other countries too.  My parents have always shown love to traveling and taught me that I should also enjoy it. With this I can reflect on everywhere I've went with family, show my likeliness for traveling, and preserve the precious memories in different states/countries.
