I am from Bangladesh and one of my best birthday gifts ever was a “payal.” Payal  is a Hindi  and Bengali word that refers to a type of anklet worn by women in India and Bangladesh and all over the Asian countries. My Dad gave it to me, there were two of them. I said to my dad, "Can I share with my sister that we can wear together?" He said, “as my wish”, unfortunately I heard that someone who was important to me left it for me before she left the house.  I know it after I lost   one of my payal, I still have the other one but I never wear it again, I kept it.  In the future, when I have my own family I will give it to someone I can trust and can able to keep it safe .
