This is an image of a family artifacts that has been passed down from my great great grandmother to my great grandmother and so on.  It belongs to my mother as of right now, but all I know is that this artifact will soon be passed on to me in the future. Some background information on this afticat is that it's one of the few things my mom brought with her from Morocco when she migrated to America. This family artifact makes me feel connected to all the women in my family due to the fact it's been passed down many generations. I also feel very proud and honored to be next in row to own this necklace because I am the oldest daughter to my mother and so was my mom to my grandmother. Overall this artifact is very meaningful to both me and my mother.
