Handmade necklace from Palestine

A lot of people have things that come from their cultures. Each object or story is different and has a different meaning, my object has a great sentimental value to my culture and where I come from. My object is a necklace that was handmade by my grandmothers’ friend that owns a small shop in Palestine. This necklace is important to me because it is a great statement from where I come from and the culture that comes along with it. The symbol on it is a great known symbol around Palestine. This necklace isn’t much very worn, it is used as more of a décor piece around the house or just a statement piece. Although Arabs love to wear necklaces and show off their culture, this necklace isn’t worn, it is used in a house or in a car as a piece of our country. We use it to show our pride and our joy in our beloved country Palestine.
