Every year for Natale (which is Christmas in Italian) my entire dad's side of the family gets together to celebrate and make lots of food together. One of the reasons that we make lots of Italian food is because my great grandparents come to America from Sicily through Ellis Island. One of the traditions we have is that we make lots of lasagna the day before Christmas by preparing cheeses that we hand grate ourselves. Then we will make the lasagna the next day for everyone else to eat and it tastes so good because everything is original and handmade. We even make our own pasta and red sauce to go with everything. I am also excited that we keep this Italian tradition because we get to spend lots of time with family during the holidays. The end.
