My Valuable Shoes
These shoes represent a lot for me, because my grandmother gave me them. The day I left Conakry to come to the United States, I got this object from my grandmother. It was Thursday February 14, 2019. In the evening, she gave me the shoes, and she told me no one knows the day we will see each other again. What do the shoes symbolize to me?
The shoes symbolize a memory of my grandmother. This object is very important to me because it reminds me of my grandmother. The shoes reminds me of the good times my grandmother and I spent together. My grandmother’s name is Fatoumata Diallo and she is very strong. I always wear the shoes, so I can remember where I come from.
The subject of this photo is my shoes. For the background I used gold fabric. I used a centered composition. The orientation is portrait. The elements of design this photo shows are color, lines, and texture. I chose this photo because I like the lighting.
