Story pending

This violin has been an inextricable part of me for nearly a decade (~7 years). Hand crafted by German Luthear--Henry Rirchard Knoph---in NYC during the 1930s, it had passed down mutliple violinists throughout the ages, all to inevitably end up in my own hands. As a dilligent violinist myself, I carry the cumbersome weight of all those giants of the past to dare not sully the name; not that I in any way intend to.  This violin allows me to pursue my own creative and musical ventures; ever since I was young. This form of emotional and physcological expression has been pivitol into developing my own character; my own interests. For example, the daily practice that such an instrument requires heightens one's discipline, as well as understanding the importance of engaging with some form of regimen.

Being a violinist, you become endowed with possibilites and experieces unlike most will ever truly participate in. The ability to play in orchestra, as a cohesive entity with the sole purpose of playing music is a transcendental moment. I'm most overjoyed that I get to take part in these moments, and It is all due to the violin.
