Two days before I left my native country the Dominican Republic to come to the United States my grandmother gave me a necklace. This necklace is so important and special because when my grandmother gave it to me she told me that keep it safe and that when I felt sad saw it to remember that she and my family love me. Sometime I feel alone in this country since the majority of my family and my grandmother live in D.R and the necklace help me feel better because I remember all that my family love me and the support that they give me. This necklace is  golden and have a medal with Jesus because my grandmother believe and has faith of Him. I usually do not wear it because I afraid of losing it. Also sometime I used the necklace like an object of good luck. For example when I have to pass an important test of something else I take out the necklace and pray with it in my hands and everything goes well.
