I got the artifact money from my dad. My mom said that I could keep it because they do not use it anymore. The people in China don’t use it because they  pay bills with their iphones and credit cards now. I got the paper currency from my dad because I wanted it. He gave it to me because it is pretty old. Also,I want to keep it because it is interesting to look at. It is from the 1980s. He gave it to me when we came back from visiting China over the summer. I am saving it because it comes from Macao where my Dad’s family is from. I am also saving it because it tells a little bit of Chinese history. It also represents my Dad’s family’s culture.
