The object I  chose was the portrait of my great grandma and my great grandpa.I chose this object because my whole family has it and it means so much to us.
    My story connected to my great grandparents portrait, is that they got married and ever since they got married they have never been separated. Also, they had 10 kids, 2 boys and 8 girls. My great grandpa and great grandma  passed away in 2009 and 2021. And ever since their passing, my family has always visited their grave every year January 28 to spend time with them.That sums up the story of my great grandparents and my family's behind story of the portrait.
    Why the portrait matters is because my family always looks at the portrait if they miss our great grandparents. We  also celebrate their mother and fathers day.The portrait matters because it has a connection and a past.Lastly, it matters because, it has a strong connection and a long past.
