Many people have important artifacts that are passed down every generation, the important artifact that I’m gonna be talking about is a wedding ring. This is one of the most important artifacts in my family because it was passed down from generation to generation. My great grandmother had this ring when she got married. My great grandmother passed it on to her oldest daughter which was my grandmother. My grandmother used to wear it every single day and everywhere she went. My grandmother was planning to give this ring to my mother on her wedding day but she never got the chance because My mom got married in Greece and my grandma could not go because of health reasons. After my mom wedding she passed away.  My mom my grandma had given the ring to my uncle to keep it safe and when my mom came back from Greece he gave it to her. Now my mom holds the ring and she is waiting for the day that I will be getting married so she could pass it on to me because I am the oldest girl in the family.
