My grandmother was born in Winterthur Switzerland at age 2 she and her parents went over to the United States to visit. They ended up loving it, there was more job openings, schools, and opportunities. They came back and two years later they decided to move over there. They packed all of their stuff and took and train to Bordeaux France where they got on the SS United States to set sail for America. Once they got to America they got a house in California and went into the work force. My grandma still lives in California to this day.
