My Family's Photo Box
My family’s picture box has picture albums from the last generation and now. The picture box looks very old as it has storage of old school diplomas and certificates from my older siblings. The box and the stuff that it contains are made of plastic and paper. We use the picture box to remember memories and to see things in the past. The pictures are over 25 to 30 years old. Some pictures come from Mexico but most of them are from the United States. My family’s picture box is connected to my origins and culture. The picture box contains photos from celebrations and holidays. It connects to my identity because I get to see how my immigrant family grows in the United States. I love to see the pictures because behind every picture there is a story to it. This object is important because it not only represents my origins but also my family’s.
