My Diary
My object is my diary, which is really special for me. It contains good wishes for my future from my friends and teacher, just like a yearbook. My dad gave me this diary on my ninth birthday. It is small and has a blue cover. On the first page of the diary, my mom and dad wrote some wishes and attached a family picture to it. I always used to keep that diary with me, but for many years, I never wanted to write in it because I couldn’t find anything interesting to say. When I was in sixth grade, I finally started writing in it. I started writing the words to some of my favorite songs. I also wrote my favorite lines from poems. Before I came to New York, I wrote all of my friends’ birth dates in it. I still have that diary, but I don’t write in it anymore.
