My Bracelet
My bracelet is important to me. I got it two years ago and it still looks brand new. This bracelet represents my background and culture. It reminds of the time I was in Ecuador and the events that happened. I got this bracelet in Cuenca, Ecuador. I remember it was a small stand where they sold different kinds of things. They were mostly like souvenirs that said Ecuador on them. While I was looking around, nothing really caught my attention but when I was about to leave, I saw a small rack with different colors and spotted the bracelet I now have. The bracelet has colors of the flag of Ecuador with the word “Ecuador” stitched on it. My aunt saw that I liked it and told me to get it. I first hesitated but I ended up getting it because I thought this could be a good thing to take back home with me and wear it whenever I missed Ecuador. So now I always wear the bracelet, even when I don't miss Ecuador. The only time I would take it out is when it gets wet and sometimes I forget about it but by the next day, I always remember to wear it. Every time I see the bracelet on myself I get memories of the beautiful colors I saw & the people walking and talking while they’re shopping.
