Movie Night at Arrowhead

Being born and raised in Independence, Missouri I had always been a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. Me and my family would get together and have watch party for at least one of the games, this being at the actual stadium or gathered around the television at my great grandmas. This became one of our family traditions. So, when my mom told me we were going to be able to sit on the actual field of Arrowhead and watch despicable me I was ecstatic. This day is one of best memories I have of my childhood. When I pass by the photo in my house I can still remember how much fun I had playing madden on the Xboxes they had set up, playing 2 hand touch football before the movie started, and then relaxing laid out on the Xfinity blanket my mom had brought from home, while enjoying a big bucket of popcorn. Reflecting upon these memories today hits home for me and reminds me of where I came from. Because my family and I have started having fewer get-togethers to watch the Chiefs games, leading to me not seeing them very often. So having this picture up in my house means a lot to me, not only reminding me of who I am, but also reminding me I have a family to depend on.
