Story pending

I've only gone to Dominican Republic twice. Once when I was six and the summer before freshman year. It was a great experience, I got to spend a lot of time with my family and I was also exposed to their beautiful culture. They had all sorts of exotic fruits and there were rivers and beaches everywhere you went. People would sit under a palm tree to hide from the beating sun. Both of my parents were born there so I was very grateful to go and see where they grew up. Everything was breathtaking but my favorite place to go is definitely Jarabacoa, where my mom grew up. Before I went my mom would always tell me stories of her childhood. She would always mention her getting on a motorcycle and going places with her siblings. I thought this was so cool and so when I went to D.R. I also saw everyone on motorcycles. In fact, every time we had to go somewhere we would go on a motorcycle. We would use a car sometimes but it was a lot nicer to take the motorcycle because you got to feel the nice breeze and look at the beautiful view at the same time. This showed me how much this object played a part in our culture. Everywhere you went you saw someone on a motorcycle.
