Moon cake
My family artifact is moon cake. It is special and important to me. My parents are the 1st generation immigrating to America. They are working in Brooklyn. When I was 3 years old, they sent me to China. They wanted me to learn Chinese's language and culture. So my grandparents raised me. They taught me how to be human. In that time, my favorite Chinese festival is Mid-Autumn Festival. At that evening, we had a hearty dinner. After that, we sat outside to look the full moon and ate the moon cakes for desserts. We hoped our family will be prosperity and healthy. Last year, I came to America and lived with my parents. I miss them very much. But now the technology has improves a lot, I can use video chat to talk with them every day. When every time I see the moon cakes, it carried rich memories about me and my family.
