The artifact I presented was a mini book that my dad made when he was in elementary school. It is from Kuwait. It is made of laminated paper and is about the properties of oil (or natural gas).

The reason I chose it is because when my dad was 8 or 9 he lived in Kuwait but Kuwait got invaded by Iraq in 1991 and he had to leave to jordan. The problem was his family couldn't take anything with them so like 5 years later (after his family moved to England) his family got someone to send the book back (it was one of the only things he got).

The one question I would ask my dad is was it difficult to move to a new country under such harsh conditions.
