My great great grandfather Julius was born in the jutland platue right near the town of tars. At this in time the early 1880s the americans where going around to advertise jobs that needed to be filled in America. He decied to leave his life behind in denmark and searhced for a better one in america. The boat ride would be free as long as you took the job in america and worked it for a certain amount of time. So he left his varoius odd jobs working danish farms and took the boat to america. Once he arrived in the united states he worked as a lumberjack in north of Wisconsin near Racine. He then built up enough wealth to buy himslef a home and a horse. In the year 1898 he quit his lumber mill job and went to go work at a malted milk delivery serivce because it payed better. There at his job he met his wife who was staying with her cousin at the time, this woman was named dorthea. Now Doretha swore that becuase she got so sick on the ship ride over to ameirca that she would never come back. Becasue of the milk my great great grandfather delivered he met his wife and created a more soild foundation for a family. of who Julius son Roy, became a milk man as well.
