Mexican Tapestry

My family object is a decoration piece you can hang on a wall also known as a tapestry of Popocatepetland Iztaccihuatl, Mexico. My family immigrated from Mexico many years ago. In Mexico we use it for hanging on the wall anywhere in the house or apartment. Many families have pieces like this one. The tapestry is made out of wool. The vibrant colors are common in Mexico. This is important to my family because the tapestry represents a legend that’s passed down from generations to generations. This tapestry piece represents my Mexican culture by tell a legend and Mexico has many of its own legends. It helps to remind me of where I come from and my family’s culture.
