The photo above is of my dads passport from Mexico. The appearance of the passport is different than in America. The ones in Mexico are almost a sort of paper material and creases more easily than the ones here. I first learned about this object when my dad was telling me his story about when he immigrated to the U.S. This object is important to me because it reminds me of my background and of my culture. My dad also says that it reminds him that he will always have a home no matter where he goes. This object can show my identity buy showing a part of my culture. My object has traveled from Mexico all the way to the U.S by plane when my dad came to America.
