My traditional jar, it is made of clay. It looks like a cylindrical pot with a wide mouth.This one has to be shaped and molded by a potter before being baked and  fired until the clay is hard. In Mexico we use it to make hot chocolate at home as part of our culture, the Aztecs were ones of the fist to use artifacts made with clay to prepare their food.Then it reminds me of my childhood because I grow up seeing my grandmother doing this type of artifact that she used to sell to get money or she exchanged for different things as vegetables, fruits or other utensils for her kitchen. Also when my brothers and me were children my mother used to make us hot chocolate in her jar every morning before we went to school so for me is like a tradition use a clay jar to make hot chocolate at home. Despite that times have changed and modernized, I still using my clay jar to make hot chocolate for my family every weekend and I want to pass this tradition to my children.
