My menorah brings not only Hanukkah season but also nostalgia. When I was younger and Hanukkah came around I was always the first to be downstairs just so that I could grab this menorah. When everyone was downstairs we would sing the prayers light one candle and open presents. Sometimes My sister Fiona and I would come downstairs in the night to watch the candles melt and then we would go back to are room to sleep. The day after I would go to Hebrew school and tell my friends what I got and the would do the same. I would also go to a bunch of Hanukkah parties and stay there for a long time. My grandpa got this menorah wile on a trip in Israel and had no use for it so when my dad decided to pursue Judaism he gave him this menorah.
