My Artifact is Mardi Gras a mask, my family has always celebrated Mardi Gras with a big sea food boil and a mask party. Everyone dresses up and celebrates their power of love and faith. My roots go all the way back to New Orleans, where my Great Great Great Grandpa Don Francisco Bouligny lived. My family traditions started with him and have been carried on for generations. Mardi Gras is my favorite time of the year because I share some of my favorite memories during these parties with my family.
