Loteria
La Loteria is important to me because every weekend my family goes to my uncle's house to play. They always invite some of their closest friends that we consider family. Everyone in the family plays even my little sister. I have grown up playing Loteria but not as much as we play now. Ever since we started to play loteria we have been playing with money. So whoever wins, wins about $2.50 or $3.00. We play this game every weekend or when there is a birthday party. My cousin's uncle even made some Loteria cards because there are always like 14 or 15 people playing. Now we have about 25 or 30 cards, everyone always plays with two cards. In every party, we always have to play and every time we play we stay up playing until 2 or 3 in the morning. Last year when my family and my uncle's family went to Mexico the first thing he asked was if we had the Loteria. Once we arrived in Mexico we stopped and played Loteria in a park and we had to put pesos instead of dollars. When we were going to go to my grandma's house in Tuxtepec, in the car we were playing and we had to put pesos in so whoever won would have money to buy things there. Once we got to my grandma's house we stayed up playing until 3 in the morning.
