The item I chose is a mask from my dads city, Copala Jalisco Mexico. This is what we call “los viejos de copala” and we have 2 partys around the same time in the winter. 1 right before christmas and another right after new years. What they do is dress up in these masks and they dance around to the rhythm of the drum. We honor baby Jesus and pray all together then we go back to having a great time with those around us.
