Lord Shiva Statue
My object is an Indian Lord Shiva statue, associated with Hinduism.
It looks like (colors) a metallic statue with a humanoid figure on it, but with extra arms. In its hands it holding a vase. With a crown of some sort, with a decorated and detailed circular object surrounding it, and it’s on a pedestal. It’s under the stairs where we pass by it every day. It feels like cold metal and in some areas sharp, but also smooth. It is made out of aluminum, which is light but sturdy. It is used for praying or luck in our house, as well as showing my family’s religion. The place it came from is a shop in India from one of my parents visits. The object was given to me by it’s not mine, but rather an object shared by all my family (my mom's). The object is important to my family and I because it represents our religion and culture. It is also important to me because it shows my family’s and my religion and culture. It describes part of who I am because it’s the religion I participate and have joined. This is important to my family because it represents my religion and culture.
