This little statue was given to my parents when they took their wedding photo, which continues to be hung in their room. The little statue symbolizes their achievement of the American Dream. They both immigrated to the US from Malaysia with little money and big dreams. They worked tirelessly, met each other from mutual friends and were able to develop a family here. Each day we’re able to put food on the table and have a roof over our head leaves us content knowing that all this was built from scratch.
