My story is my first lego set, which I made in 2015, because it was my favorite thing to do when I was younger. My dad got it for me as a birthday present, and after that I started building a lot more legos. I choose legos because they are a big part of my childhood and it reminds me of my younger days. Many other kids enjoyed legos as kids, especially in America, so it is also a part of my culture. I remember how excited I was when I saw my first set in my dad’s hands, because I had seen legos at my friend’s house and was normally jealous of him. Although I don’t use legos anymore, I still enjoy seeing them and building them occasionally. This also was an important piece of my relationship with my brother, because we used to build legos together or I would help him with his legos because he’s 3 years younger than me. My favorite lego series were the speed champions, which were a collection of little cars. Although legos are just a toy for kids, they’ll always have a special place in my heart for being a big part of my childhood, and I’ll always be grateful for my first set which helped start my journey through the lego world.
