La Rosca                                                                                                   MY object is la Rosca .  La Rosca is a cake that is only eaten on January 6 . La rosca is  part of the traditional Day of The Kings or The Three Wise Men . The Three wise  men are the kings who where baring  gifts to baby Jesus on his birthday wich was on December 25 . The cake is made normally but in side the cake there are little baby Jesuses . If you get one of the baby Jesuses you will have to make food for the whole family . The tradition  The Three Wise Men  has been a religion in my Family for many years . The recipe for the cake is 3 1/2 cups flour , 1 packet yeast , 3/4 cups of sugar , 7 eggs , 125 grams of  butter , 1/4 cup lukewarm milk , Dash of salt , 2 tsp. Cinnamon , 1/4 tsp aniseed , 100 grams raisins , 1 tsp vanilla , 50 grams candied figs , 50 grams candied orange , 50 grams candied lemon , 50 grams candied cherries , 50 grams candied citron , 1 beaten egg , sugar , butter and flour .
