The Lunar New Year is big holiday in korea.
We celebrate the New Year, in the morning.
We always make rice cake soup. It is made from rice cakes, chapped beefs, green onions and tofu, after that boil it together.
Rice cake soup is traditional korean food eaten on New Year's day.It is a food that has been handed down my grandmother who also learned from her grandmother. It is also said that you need to eat a bowl of rice cake soup on New Year's day to get a year older. We remember our ancestors while we have rice cake soup. And then we pray to our ancestors to be happy and healthy.
Rice cake soup will continue to be handed down to my children and grandchildren.♥
