This is a Jewish Star that my great-grandfather was required to wear during World War II. Below it is money from the concentration camp that he was forced to live in during the War. My great-grandparents and their family’s were prisoners of the German army just because they were Jewish. While many of their relatives did not survive the War, thankfully my great-grandparents did. They met each other after the War and later moved to the United States to start a family.
