My story truly is my Mother, she migrated to the United States illegally from Guadalajara, Mexico. She was only three years old when she migrated to the United States, however, she did not do it alone of course. When she migrated to the United States, she migrated with my Grandparents. My Grandparents decided they should illegally migrate to the United States, a place where the opportunity for good education and success is offered to everyone. With their determination and strength, they were able to successfully cross the border without being caught. My Mother was raised by my Grandparents in the United States for 13 years until she turned 16. The year 2001 came where her life changed forever. In 2001, she brought me into this beautiful world without the support of anyone, not even my father. She wanted to establish a good lifestyle for me as well as provide me with the best tools possible to become successful in life. This is exactly what my Mother did, she worked various jobs every day for almost 7 years in hopes of  providing me with the best life she possibly could, she just wanted to see me smile every single day. She even gave up her high school education and any possible future education to prioritize supporting me.My Mother went through many bumps in the road, but they have only helped my Mom become the amazing strong woman she is today and she couldn't have done all of that without the appreciated support of my stepfather.
