The Italian Flag represents a major part of my life as my grandparents had come from Italy to start a new life in the United States. If they had not left Italy my father, my uncle, and my Aunts would not have been living here and neither would I. They had come to America with one common hope, that their lives here would be better here and that their children would have opportunities and a quality of life that would be impossible if they didn't decide to come to the U.S. My Grandfather had migrated to the United States in search for a job to better himself and to give his children a better life. My Grandmother also came to the U.S. for new and better job opportunities. My grandparents had met here in New York and ended up having 5 children. Their 5 children consisted of my father, my uncle, and my 3 Aunts which would then have their own families.
