HIJAB
My object is a hijab. My mom gave it to me. I like to wear this hijab because it is important to my culture and it is a memory of my mom, but she died sixteen years ago, may God be merciful to her. It’s very nice; it’s white with multiple bouquets of flowers. She gave it to me for my wedding seventeen years ago. The hijab is a tradition in Muslim culture. The hijab is a veil traditionally worn by Muslim women since the beginning of Islam in the year 610 by the prophet Mouhamed [PIH]. It is important because it’s protection for Muslim women to wear a hijab. Muslim women should not expose their hair and chest. In our culture, we have a headscarf which is different than the Muslim headscarf. I like wearing a hijab headscarf because I believe in my religion.
