One thing that is extremely important to me is cooking. One important memory was one day when I was cooking, I was cooking with my family, we were baking my grandmas famous recipe. The day we were baking it we were also making a bird house. Why is this so important to me? Because  she told me I was the only one who knew the recipe and she was the main one helping make the bird house.  She went out and bought wood, and she was cutting with a saw, helping me glue it, and get it ready for the next day.  This day was special because my grandma helped me do so many things that day and now that she is gone it hurts to know Im the only one who knew the recipe and she cared for me and my sibling like a mother would. We would be with her a lot, I lived with all my siblings, my mom and my step dad,  but they where always with my mom in the living room, while I was with my Grandma.  Because we made the cake at her house, my siblings, my cousins, and my unc was there but that was one of the last times we made the cake, ever since my grandma passed I never had made the recipe. It is so special to me and there has not been a lot of special occasions to make it, but I alwas think of this time we made it before she passed back in 2016
