In Attire

This hat belonged to my great-grandfather, Pedro Maria Ruiz, who lived in Maracay, Venezuela. He was my mothers grandfather. Pedro was a carpenter, and would fabricate furniture and instruments, and would make wood carved figurines. He would make my mom large sized doll beds that my mom would always break, so Pedro would have to fix them. He also made my mother an instrument called a cuatro(a Venezuelan instrument with the body of a small guitar) but it had a triangle body instead of the traditional one.
