This is a map hand drawn by my great Grandpa. It shows the whole world and is an economic map. It was made in 1969 and everything up to the compass in the top left was hand drawn, including the calligraphy. This object is important to my family because it helps learn more about my ancestors and what they did. It gives me a stronger connection to them because I know what they did for a living. This map is also important because it shows how our ancestors had different jobs in America and were not your everyday factory worker immigrant.#map#world#drawing#miscellaneous
